Today, Liverpool’s electronic pop pioneers Ladytron are gifting their fans with a surprise two decades in the making, “All Over By Xmas”. Cut from the same cloth as their acclaimed 2023 album ‘Time’s Arrow’, gorgeously adorned with their trademark analogue synths, and sleigh bells riding a wintery wall of sound, “All Over By Xmas” is a majestic glam stomp, in the festive tradition of ‘Stop the Cavalry’ and ‘Pipes of Peace’.

The surprise release arrives following announcement their first UK show of 2024: New Century Hall in Manchester on January 26. The band also recently announced their headline slot at the three-day Schellraiser Festival in Nevada in June and more dates will be announced soon. The band also close out the year with their seminal single “Destroy Everything You Touch” featured in Emerald Fennell’s new highly praised movie, Saltburn.

Shows. Departure.

Thanks to everyone who attended the first Ladytron shows since 2020 in Glasgow, Liverpool and London. It has been a blast, and we are looking forward to the US dates in May, and more to be announced through the year, with a stunning new visual set by long time collaborator Sam Wiehl.

The new live shows have been the first without Reuben Wu, who has reluctantly concluded that he can not commit to a touring group whilst also pursuing a career in the visual arts on the other side of the world. We completely understand and respect his decision, especially after the past few years, which have put life and distance into new perspective for all of us. We have a quarter century’s worth of memories: of discovering, scheming, creating, travelling the world together, and we shall remain friends as ever was. The door is always open to work together again in the future.

Ladytron’s plans and schedule are not affected. Work has already begun on the follow up to Time’s Arrow. The show goes on.

Good luck Ru. XXX
